Riambel comporte une plage touristique à l’ouest de Souillac, au sud de Surinam. C’est une position géographique ancienne sous le nom de Pointe d’Arienbelle. Riambel vient du mot malgache « Ariambel » formé lui même de deux mots voulant dire: « un endroit ensoleillé, riant, ou il y a de la vie, du mouvement ».
ENGLISH: Riambel has a tourist beach west of Souillac, southern Suriname. This is an ancient geographical position as the tip of Arienbelle. Riambel comes from the Malagasy word « Ariambel » made himself of two words meaning « a sunny, laughing, or there is life, movement »
